Stephen R. Moore LL.B., Mediator

Stephen practiced law for over 40 years at Blaney McMurtry LLP before retiring in June of 2022. He has conducted private mediations since 2011. His major areas of practice were personal injury litigation (for both defence and plaintiffs), insurance coverage, professional liability (including lawyers, engineers, medical professionals and real estate agents) and commercial disputes involving small and medium sized businesses. He has mediated disputes touching on all of these areas of practice.

In addition, Stephen is an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School where he teaches Legal Process (civil procedure).

Then pick a full day, morning or afternoon mediation and you will be taken to his calendar. Any available date you choose will be held for one week to allow you to confirm it with the other parties. Please do not hold more than two dates for the same mediation. Stephen has prepared a seminar on the approaches adopted by defence and plaintiffs’ counsel at mediations which are effective and those which are not.
